Jimmy Kansau

Originally a native of Mérida, Venezuela, Jimmy Kansau started developing his artistic inclination from a very young age. Growing up in a family of innate, self-taught brothers and sisters, Jimmy showed interest for art and music.
In the music field Jimmy holds a Masters Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has appeared in many different genres of vocal music, including Opera, Oratorio, Recitals and Zarzuela. He has collaborated with artist such as the world acclaimed pianist Peggy Salkind performing Beethoven’s ‘An Die ferne Geliebte’ .
Currently Jimmy is part of the San Francisco Opera Chorus, the San Francisco Opera Guild’s Opera a La Carte Program and The San Francisco Boys Chorus as Vocal Instructor. Jimmy also teaches privately at his San Francisco studio.
